How to install mods on FS19

💡 Before installing a mod, make sure your game and the mod are up to date with the latest version.

💡 Make sure there is no other zipped file in the main mod file otherwise your mod will not work.

PC version

When you download a mod file, it usually comes in one of three file types.

1- EXE These are the easiest to install. Once the file is downloaded, just double click on it and when it runs it will install, done, launch the game and test it.

2- RAR These are compressed files, these can contain any file or folder that has been compressed to speed up the download. After the download is complete, you need to extract all the files from the rar file. You will usually end up with exe files or zip files. RAR files are also used for map downloads and usually require extraction to your data folder.

3- ZIP These are also compressed files. Check the files they contain. If there are any zip or exe files, these will need to be extracted and the exe files run. If a zip file contains the mod itself, the zip file should be copied to the game's mods folder.

Remember that if you have the English version, the folder names will be slightly different. Windows 10 and later will open zip files, but you'll need Winrar or a similar program to open rar files. These programs will also work with zip files.
